Teaneck Orthopaedic Physical Therapy, LLC , is an Outpatient Private Practice Physical Therapy Clinic established in April 2016 in Teaneck NJ. This office provides musculoskeletal rehabilitation in adolescent, adult, and older adult populations. Owned and solely-operated by minority who grew up in Southeast Asia.


The founder is Dr. Martin S. Malaluan, III, PT, DPT, OCS, physical therapist licensed to practice physical therapy in the States of New Jersey and New York. Dr. Malaluan has over 24 years in work experience mostly in outpatient musculoskeletal rehabilitation for conditions due to natural causes, surgery, sports-injury, and acquired non-surgery-related. He finished his Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy in 1995 at Southwestern University in the Republic of the Philippines; and finished his Transitional Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2014 at the Dominican College of Blauvelt in New York. He passed the Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist Certification Exam administered by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties in 2015. He has minor background in Strength and Conditioning (personal, special populations, sports) by the NSCA. Our mission is to be the Top Provider of a Quality Care in New Jersey. Our goal is to provide one-on-one patient care to help client regain normal health and return to full functional capacity sooner.

Patients can now directly access physical therapy services without an immediate referral or prescription from the doctor except Medicare, PIP, and Worker's Compensation.

Patients with Medicare are allowed to continue physical therapy into a Skilled Maintenance Therapy Program.

Post-surgery cases:

We provide rehabilitation in the following post-surgical conditions: Spinal Fusion in the neck and/or back, Laminectomy, Descectomy, Shoulder Rotator Cuff Repair, SLAP Repair, Shoulder Decompression, Shoulder Arthroplasty, ORIF Humerus, Elbow Tommy-John, Elbow ORIF, Colles Fracture ORIF, Wrist TFCC Repair or release, Carpal Tunnel Surgery, Trigger Finger/Thumb Release and/or Dupuytren's Contracture, Total Hip Replacement, Hip Arthroscopy, Total or Partial Knee Replacement, Meniscectomy or Meniscal Repair, PF Chondroplasty, ACL Repair, Ankle Reconstruction, Achilles Tendon Repair, Ankle ORIF, Bunionectomy or Cheilectomy.


Regular Orthopedic Conditions

We provide physical therapy treatment for musculoskeletal pain caused by muscle strain or sprain in the neck or back; tendinitis on the shoulder, elbow, wrist/hand, hip, knee, and/or ankle/foot; osteoarthritis or degenerative joint disease; and/or due to postural dysfunction.


Sports-related Injuries: 

The following are sports-related inquires such as Little leaguer's elbow, stress fractures of tibia and fibula, sprains and strains in the hips, knees, and ankles, low back pain from stress-reactions of the lumbar par interarticularis area or disk-related lesions, wrist fractures, tendinitis, osteochondrosis of the elbow of young gymnasts, joint subluxations or dislocation.

A Friendly Reminder;

Please call the member services at the back of your insurance card to determine how much will be your financial responsibility. We accept cash or debit/credit card. We may include a surcharge up to 3% with each credit card transactions. 


The EOB (Explanation of Benefits) will become the ultimate adjudicator of the actual cost of your care. Misinformation could occasionally happen. We apologize for that! But we really need you to satisfy the 'Patient Responsibility  Portion' of your care. Call us for a payment plan.

For PIP patients, we need information such as Claim Number, Date of Accident, name and phone number of the adjuster, and name and phone number of your attorney. If you switch to another lawyer, kindly inform the office immediately!
