Teaneck Orthopaedic Physical Therapy, LLC (Group NPI: 1629429642) is an outpatient physical therapy office located in Teaneck, New Jersey. The office was founded in April 2016 by Dr. Martin S. Malaluan III, PT, DPT, OCS, SFMA-1 ( NPI: 1427003250) physical therapist licensed to practice in New Jersey and New York.
Dr. Malaluan has over 24 years in experience as physical therapist, mainly in outpatient orthopedic setting. He was graduated from Dominican College of Blauvelt, New York, in 2014, received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy; And from Southwestern University, Philippines, received his Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy in 1995, and attended Master of Arts in Teaching Physical Therapy in 1996-1997.
He was granted as a Board Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (ABPTS) in 2015-2025.
He had taken and passed the Part-1 Exam of the NSCA's Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). And currently pursuing for the Certified Special Population Specialist (CSPS).
He was trained and employs orthopedic/neurologic manual therapy is assessment and treatment integrating Maitland-Australian Technique (joint mobilization/joint manipulation), Mulligan Technique, Mc Kenzie Technique, Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM) and Cupping, Myofascial Release (MFR), Strain-Counterstrain (SCS), PNF, Kinesiotaping, and Bobath Approach and Brunnstrom Techniques for Stroke. And Selective Functional Movement Assessment Technique (SFMA).
Dr. Malaluan was a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and the Kiwanis Club Internationale Upper Davao Chapter Philippines.
He speaks English, Tagalog, Cebuano, and a little bit of Spanish and Arabic.

POST-OP PHYSICAL THERAPY
We provide rehabilitation in the following post-surgical conditions: Spinal Fusion in the neck and/or back, Laminectomy, Descectomy, Shoulder Rotator Cuff Repair, SLAP Repair, Shoulder Decompression, Shoulder Arthroplasty, ORIF Humerus, Elbow Tommy-John, Elbow ORIF, Colles Fracture ORIF, Wrist TFCC Repair or release, Carpal Tunnel Surgery, Trigger Finger/Thumb Release and/or Dupuytren's Contracture, Total Hip Replacement, Hip Arthroscopy, Total or Partial Knee Replacement, Meniscectomy or Meniscal Repair, PF Chondroplasty, ACL Repair, Ankle Reconstruction, Achilles Tendon Repair, Ankle ORIF, Bunionectomy or Cheilectomy.
GENERAL PHYSICAL THERAPY
We provide physical therapy treatment for musculoskeletal pain caused by muscle strain or sprain in the neck or back; tendinitis on the shoulder, elbow, wrist/hand, hip, knee, and/or ankle/foot; osteoarthritis or degenerative joint disease; and/or due to postural dysfunction.
PHYSICAL THERAPY FOR SPORTS-RELATED INJURY
The rehabilitation in sports-related injuries spans from review of preseason athletic physical examination, whenever possible, to management of musculo-skeletal injuries, determination of contributing factors to injury, and formulation of strategies to lessen the risks of musculoskeletal tissues.
The following are sports-related injuires such as Little leaguer's elbow, stress fractures of tibia and fibula, sprains and strains in the hips, knees, and ankles, low back pain from stress-reactions of the lumbar par interarticularis area or disk-related lesions, wrist fractures, tendinitis, osteochondrosis of the elbow of young gymnasts, joint subluxations or dislocation.
